Eucharistic Revival at Holy Trinity
2023–2024

Scripture Reading in Chapel.jpg

Holy Trinity Parish has exciting news for its parishioners! We are joining parishes all over the United States in the National Eucharistic Revival!

The National Eucharistic Revival is a response from the United States Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to a troubling 2019 Pew Research Study, which indicated that 70% of Catholics don’t believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Chairman of the Board of the National Eucharistic Revival, states, “We are really aware in these times that we live that the Church needs to become more missionary. The culture itself doesn’t support what we do anymore as Catholics,” Cozzens notes. “All Catholics are invited into a renewed encounter with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, especially those Catholics who don’t fully understand the power of the Eucharist.” (National Eucharistic Revival, 2022).

Holy Trinity Parish will join the kickoff for the Revival on June 8, 2023, with 24-Hour Eucharistic Adoration. After that, on June 11, we will have a Eucharistic Procession, Benediction, and our annual Parish Picnic after the 11 AM Mass. Parishioners can continue to expect more events centered on the Eucharistic Revival, including formation and education, presentations on Eucharistic miracles approved by the Vatican, guest speakers, and much more!

Please visit www.eucharisticrevival.org to join the Revival and sign up for the weekly newsletter to keep up to date with what is to come.

Our Church is calling us to renew our belief in the Eucharist as the true source and summit of our faith! People are longing for a deeper connection to something greater than themselves, and Jesus answers this in the Holy Eucharist!

Prayer

Come Holy Spirit. During this year of Eucharistic Revival, fill my heart with greater love for Jesus. Instruct me in His ways, so that I might believe in my soul that He is truly present in the sacrifice of the Mass. Reveal to me the heart of Christ, who so loves us that He remains with us, that we might receive Him into our souls through the Holy Eucharist and draw close to Him in Adoration. Help me to grow in holiness and live as a member of His mystical body on earth, that I might proclaim His glory each day and lead those around me to Him.
Amen.
