Welcome to Year 2 of Confirmation preparation! By this time each candidate should have:

· Chosen a Confirmation Saint and completed a Saint Letter and Saint Project.

· Chosen a Confirmation Sponsor and given your sponsor a Sponsor Form. (Make sure your sponsor has the form signed at his/her parish and returns it to the Faith Formation Office).

· Completed your Certificate Form and turned it into the Faith Formation Office.

· Started your volunteer service requirements.

Plan for the year

 

MANDATORY COMBINED CONFIRMATION SESSIONS (If you are enrolled in Partners in Faith, you will attend most of these sessions during your regular PiF session time.)

 

· Discernment Interviews (Zoom): Will be arranged by individual appointment in August.

 

· “Burn:” Sunday, September 7 (10:15-11:45 am) OR Tuesday, September 16 (5:30-7:00 pm). (Candidates and parent or sponsor).

 

· "Source:" Tuesday, November 4 (5:30-7:00 pm) OR Sunday, November 9 *10:15-11:45 am). (Candidates and parent or sponsor).

 

· Sponsor Orientation, Zoom, Thursday, November 6, 6:30 pm. (Sponsors only).

 

· Fired Up! Diocesan Confirmation Conference, Saturday, February 28, Christian Brothers HS, Time TBA. (Candidates only).

 

· Service Reflection Session “United:” Sunday, March 8 (10:15-11:45 am) OR Tuesday, March 10 (5:30-7:00 pm) (Candidates and parent or sponsor).

 

· Retreat at Holy Trinity Parish. Date TBA. (Candidates only).

 

· All Confirmation forms due in Faith Formation Office Friday, May 22, 2026.

 

· Letters to the Bishop Session: Fall 2026, Date TBA (Candidates and parent or sponsor).

 

· Morning of Reflection (Day before Confirmation): Date TBA (9:00 am -12:00 pm) (Candidate and sponsor).

 

· Sacrament of Confirmation: Date TBA.

 

SERVICE HOURS (Suggestions sent by email each month):

Confirmation Service Log documenting service hours due Friday, May 22, 2026.

 

Ministry Hours: 10 hours of service (at-home or in-person) in any Holy Trinity Parish Ministry.

 

Service Projects: We offer Service Projects about once a month; 2 service projects are required during Year 2 of Confirmation preparation. You also have the option to create your own service project or volunteer at a service project offered by another group, but outside projects must be approved by us in advance. PERSONAL FORMATION:

Weekly Sunday Mass attendance and daily prayer.
