Welcome to your first year of Confirmation preparation! We hope this is a time for you and your family to grow closer to Jesus, to each other, and to His Church.

Plan for the year:

Combined Confirmation Sessions (If you are enrolled in Partners in Faith, you will attend these mandatory sessions during your regular PiF session time.):

Combined Confirmation Sessions:

· Combined Session 1-Orientation, "Beginnings": For parents and candidates: Sunday, January 11 (10:15-11:45 am) OR Tuesday, January 13 (5:30-7:00 pm).

· Combined Session 2, "Fault": For candidates and parents or sponsors: Sunday, April 12 (10:15-11:45 am) OR Tuesday, April 14 (5:30-7:00 pm).

Confirmation Saint Letter and Saint Project

· Choose a patron saint to walk with you on your Confirmation journey.

· See videos for ideas.

· Holy Trinity School students will complete the Saint Letter and Saint Project as part of their religion curriculum.

· Partners in Faith students must turn in the Saint Letter and Saint Project by the end of March 2026. Additional instructions will be given during your Partners in Faith class. Upload the letter and project with the link below.

Confirmation Sponsor

· Choose your Confirmation Sponsor.

· A sponsor must be a practicing Roman Catholic who has received all the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation). A sponsor must be age 16 or older when acting as a sponsor, and, if they are married, they must be married in the Catholic Church. Please note that a parent cannot sponsor their own child.

· Give your sponsor a Sponsor Form (link to form is below). Sponsors must have this form signed by their home parish. After the form is signed, turn in the hard copy to the Faith Formation Office.

Certificate Form

· This form confirms the name that will be printed on your Confirmation Certificate. After you have chosen your Confirmation Saint, complete this form using the link below.

Service Hours

· You may start recording service hours on your service log (link to online log is below).

· Service requirements will be explained at the Beginnings Combined Session.
