Lector Ministry

Members of the Lector Ministry are trained individuals who proclaim the Word of the Lord at all regularly scheduled Masses.  There are two mandatory meetings each year.  One in the Fall to provide updates to all lectors.  In the Spring all lectors are required to be video taped so that their skills can be reviewed and coaching provided as needed.

To join this ministry, candidates must be at least 16 years of age and be able to read and clearly proclaim the Word of God.  Training is required and is provided on an as-needed basis.
