The Faith Formation Ministry is offering summer classes for faith development.
Please join us for one or more of the following opportunities. Please register

Christian Mystery
We are sacramental people. In this module, we will explore the meaning of
liturgy and sacrament while developing own sacramental spirituality. Class
offered Monday and Tuesday, July 13 & 14 from 9 a.m.– noon. 8 credit hours
– basic.
Roles of the Catechist
We have responded to the call to lead others to grow in faith. This module
will focus on the four key roles of the catechist. July 13 & 14, 1-3p.m.
4 credit hours - basic
Getting Started as a Catechist
In this series of modules we will learn the essentials of creating "space" both
physical and personal in bringing others to Jesus. "Getting Started" also
involves looking creatively at our spirituality, as we go forth to teach. Class
is offered twice, Wednesday and Thursday, July 15 & 16 from 1-3 p.m. and
again on Sunday, August 2 from 10:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m. & Monday, August
10, 6-8 p.m. 4 credit hours- basic.
Prayer and Spirituality: A Faith Formation Workshop
Do you seek a deeper prayer life? Join our own Julianne Kurowski as she not
only leads us through an exploration of prayer and its various forms, and obstacles
to prayer, but also guides us through an experience of Lectio Divina and guided
meditation. Julianne has a Master Degree in Theological Studies and a Master
Degree in Education, and has years of experience as a workshop and retreat
master. This two-session class is offered Thursday and Friday, July 16 and
17, from 9 a.m.- noon. 6 credit hours – basic or renewal.
Profession of Faith
In this series we continue to study the faith we profess, especially as it
is embodied in our Creed. Please join us Sunday, July 26 from 10:30a.m.-1:00p.m.
and Monday, July 27 from 6-8:30p.m. 8 credit hours – basic.
Living a Spirituality of Action, A Woman’s Perspective
This three session faith formation offers women the opportunity to come and
reflect on their spirituality. Please join us as we journey with Catholic theologian
and author, Joan Mueller, in her book, Living a Spirituality of Action,
A Woman’s Perspective. Seek fuller appreciation of our Catholic faith as
we profess it in our every day lives and "own our gifts and use them to
make the world a better place," This Tuesday night workshop begins July
28, 6:30-8:30p.m, led by Susie Hahn. Advance purchase of the book, Living
a Spirituality of Action, A Woman’s Perspective, through Holy Trinity bookstore
or Faith Formation office, is necessary and chapters on-three read prior to

The Learner
In this stage of study, we look at human growth and explore the appropriate
methodologies for addressing the learners, as we foster a development of our
faith. Class offered Sunday, August 2, 12:15-2:15p.m. & Monday, Aug. 3,
from 6-8p.m. 4 credit hours – basic.
Life in Christ
One way or another, we are all teachers of morality. In this module we explore
the foundations of Catholic Morality and the practice of a moral life. We are
offering this class on Tuesday, October 27, November 3 & 10, 2009 from
6-8p.m. each evening. 8 credit hours – basic.
