The De Colores Ministry helps integrate the members of our parish with those who only speak spanish through different activities and events that incorporate our Catholic beliefs and faith.
Other important service that this ministry provides is the English Language classes that give our Spanish speakers an opportunity to learn English while introducing them to parish service programs such as Faith Formation. Our ministry also encourages parishioners to participate before, during, and after the mass with liturgy readings, choir participation, receptions with cultural treats. We also have the following events:
- Taco Sunday's
- Dia de Los Muertos, on November 2.
- "Our Lady of Guadalupe" Play after the December 12, evening mass.
- 5K Walk/Run
- English Language classes
Throughout the year our ministry works to provide compassionate assistance for members of our community in need. Our book club meets to discuss book selections both in Spanish and English with topics related to important issues of our times. Our ministry welcomes all members of our parish community.
